The problem of space has been the major challenge for the operation of the Natural History Museum. Not much has been done on the project except a letter that was written to the Governor of Osun State which has not received any response.
Presently, we are working on a hypothesis which makes the University the main supply of funds to complete this building. In this regard, we have consulted with Professor Amao who has agreed to redesign the building to make it less expensive and more functional. It is redesigned to accommodate at least a lecture theatre and a seminar room that can be used by students and staff of other departments in the University.
This will persuade the University to put it in priority list and this will also persuade donors to complete segments of the buildings such as gallery, library and computer rooms.
Meanwhile the fund raising committee of the Museum has been reactivated to seek fund from oil and relevant companies within and outside the country.
