The CSL has as its Specific objectives as follows:

• Provide functional and state-of- the-art equipment for use by researchers in the university and in the industries;
• Provide avenues for researchers and scientists to optimize their potentials;
• Provide opportunity for users to exchange data by electronic mail within and outside the university;
• Provide avenues for users from industries to process, share and analyze their data appropriately;
• Provide opportunities for both internal and external users to up-grade their skills; and
• Create a forum for interactions among users and other interested parties in the community and globally.
