Great Ife ! ! !
I warmly welcome all distinguished Alumni of Great Ife to this site. The Alumni Relations office, was established officially on the 15 th April, 1983 (The date the first Alumni Relations Officer assumed duty). It was initially attached directly to the Vice-Chancellor’s office. Later, the unit was moved to join other units to comprise the Division of Corporate Services. Again, after the establishment of the University Advancement Office in July 2006, the office was moved to join other fundraising units of the University under the Advancement office.
The University has given utmost importance to the development of its relationship with it’s over 55,000 alumni and the development of Alumni Association and its branches. The Alumni Relations Unit was strengthened, and has been moved into new spacious accommodation in the University Hall under the Advancement Office .The University Administration established an extremely warm and productive working relationship with the alumni body, and encouraged the establishment of branches all over Nigeria and outside it.
Currently there are twenty-three (23) branches of the Alumni Association in various parts of the country. In the past seven (7) years, branches have been established in Houston, Dallas, Washington D.C and, most recently, London. Also, different Alumni groups have been established by some departments and faculties.
