All students are expected to wear black shoes with lace to school, sole not more than one inch and also wear a pair of white clean stocks daily.

Students either have their hair neatly plaited or properly cut. Students should desist from elaborate hair styles, avoid the use of perfumes or makeup of any kind. All flamboyant hair styles are not allowed in the school.

A student who falls ill in school reports first to the health teacher/health prefect who arranges for him/her to be taken to the School Health Bay. However, parents are enjoined not to allow their sick children to come to school. The school will not be held liable for any unpleasant development thereafter.

Students who have peculiar health problems like asthma, must be armed with their inhalers always. Also, parents are requested to write the school to report the inability of their sick children to come to school for three or more days. This helps us to check cases of truancy amongst students.

We do not encourage students to receive visitors while in school because O.A.U. International School is both a day and boarding school. However, all visitors are requested to report at the school’s administrative office in the first instance before being directed to see the staff or students.

Handsets are not allowed in the school. If found, will be confiscated and may not be returned to students or parents.

Any damage caused to the properties of the school or to members of the school by students, is charged to the student(s) responsible for the damage.
