How to Use O.A.U ilab Service Broker

- On this page browse to ilab folder
- The ilab folder has two subfolder, namely: documentation & JDK 1.5,form documentation folder copy projects 1,2,3. Which are the manuals you need to study before performing the experiments, also copy JDK 1.5 from its folder.
- Install JDK 1.5 on the Pc you are going to perform the experiments.
- Study the manual properly before going online to perform the experiments.
- Browse to the iLab login page preferably during the network off-peak periods (6 p.m –11 a.m)
- If you are a registered student of EEE302 or PHY308, login with your username and password as your surname and the first letter of your first name, once you log in you can customize your account.
- If you don’t belong to the above groups, clicks the register, and register your account, wait 4hr for your account to be fully setup.
- Choose the desired applet to load (Graphical or classic),
- Scroll down and click the yellow “launch lab” button, on the page and wait for a few minutes.
- A pop-up warring window comes up with respect to “MIT Microelectronics weblab”, click on the “yes” button.
- Wait for a few minutes for the Java applet to launch with lab configuration.
- On the java applet, go to “devices” and select the device you want to use in your experiment.
- Set your parameter within the specified limit in your manual.
- To perform your experiment, click on “run measurement” and wait for some minutes.
- Once the experiment is performed the result will be displayed in the graph in the applet, ensure it agree with what is in your manual.
- Use the manual to complete the experiments.
