There are seven Senate approved academic programmes that are mounted in the Faculty of Social Sciences. These are:

of Demography and Social Statistics.
B.Sc,, M.Sc., Ph.D. degree programmes in Economics in the Department of Economics.
B.Sc,, M.Sc., Ph.D. degree programmes in Geography in the Department of Geography.
B.Sc,, M.Sc., Ph.D. degree programmes in Political Science in the Department of Political
Science.
B.Sc,, M.Sc., Ph.D. degree programmes in PPE in the Department of Political science.
B.Sc,, M.Sc., Ph.D. degree programmes in Psychology in the Department of Psychology.
B.Sc,, M.Sc., Ph.D. degree programmes in Sociology and Anthropology in the Department of
Sociology and Anthropology.
