POLITICAL SCIENCE(B.SC)
The undergraduate programme in Political Science has been designed to give students a broad grasp of the discipline, and at the same time to encourage a reasonable degree of concentration in some principal areas such as political theory, comparative politics, public administration and international relations. Through careful selection of electives on the advice and approval of the Head of Department, students can specialize in any of these areas.

POLITICS, PHILOSOPHY AND ECONOMICS-PPE(B.SC)
The Department of Political Science offers a combined honours degree programme in Politics, Philosophy and Economics in cooperation with the Departments of Philosophy and Economics. The programme has been designed for students interested in taking up appointments with any of the public services of the Federation and international civil service after graduation.

DURATION OF PROGRAMMES

Both Programmes are expected to last for a period of four years. All the candidates are expected to carry a course work load equivalent of 150 units for Political Science and 142 for PPE during eight semesters. An average grade of E is required for all course work examination taken towards the B.SC degree.
