The undergraduate programme in Political Science has been designed to give students a broad grasp of the discipline, and at the same time to encourage a reasonable degree of concentration in some principal areas such as political theory, comparative politics, public administration and international relations. The Department of Political Science offers a combined honours degree programme in Politics, Philosophy and Economics in cooperation with the Departments of Philosophy and Economics. Through careful selection of electives on the advice and approval of the Head of Department, students can specialize in any of these areas.
