Graduate Study
Graduate programmes offered in the department of geography include : · M.Sc. (Geography); · M.Sc. (GIS and Remote Sensing); · MGIS (Professional Masters); · PhD Department of Geography at OAU, has trained professionals to handle the various academic components of the programmes. In terms of physical facilities, Geography has acquired some computers, which have capabilities for graduate programmes. The department also has a storage of topographical sheets covering most parts of Nigeria. In addition, it has just received a donation of sets of aerial photographs and Satellite images of some parts of the country. The department has spacious cartography and GIS laboratories, which can meet the demand of changes in technology of Geoinfomatics. |
