Natural Product and Synthetic Medicinal Chemistry


RESEARCH INTEREST:

1. Investigation into the antimicrobial/anti-inflammatory properties of some Nigerian medicinal plants with the view to isolating and characterising the active compounds, thus providing rational scientific basis for their use

2. Synthesis of active natural compounds to confirm structure and for Structure-Activity-Relationship (SAR) studies
