1. Academic year (2004/2005) N12,834,811 was budgeted for salaries and 3,756,500 for supplies and expenses. N101,400.00 was released for supplies and expenses
2. Academic year (2005/2006) N14, 756,500 was budgeted for salaries and 10,768,500 for supplies and expenses. 254,092 Naira was received for supplies and expenses, part of which was the direct teaching grant.
3. Academic year (2006/2007) The sum of N304, 200.00 was received for supplies and expenses.
4. The Unit received a grant of $ 20,000 .00 USDfrom the TWAS for equipment procurement.
5. A sum of NGN 983,746. 60k was received by the Unit from the University Research Committee (URC) as research grant.
