The Faculty of Agriculture is one of the first five faculties with which the University started functioning in 1962. In 1967/68, the Faculty was one of the first units of the University to transfer to the permanent site at Ile-Ife. Our programmes in the various departments are well tailored to meet the needs and aspirations of the labour market as well as a growing body of budding entrepreneurs. The production of agricultural commodities to meet domestic and foreign market demand along with remunerative employment to our graduates have remained the central philosophy of the Faculty over the years. Our programmes have been evolving to cater for these changing needs. It is therefore my pleasure to invite you to explore our site for your benefit and information.
