CASSAVA PLANT MEAL IN THE DIETS OF GROWING PIGS AND LAYING HENS.

WHAT IS NEW: The development of a feed-stuff from cassava (unpeeled tubers + leaves + tender stemsin the ratios 2 of unpeeled tubers to 1 of leaves and tender stems while the ratio of leaves to tender stem is 5:1) of designated as Cassava Plant Meal that has a similar nutrients profile with maize.Some of the nutrients of interest are:

How it can be applied:

To every 1 ton of sun-dried and milled unpeeled cassava tuber, add 417kg of sun-dried and milled cassava leaves and 83kg of dried and milled cassava tender-stems.

Cassava Farmers in about 23 States in Nigeria, Pig Farmers in about 20 States in Nigeria, Poultry Farmers and Feed Millers all over Nigeria.
