Qualifications:
- Professor
The Professor must have a Ph. D in Public Administration or Political Science with a bias in Public Administration from a recognized University in Nigeria or abroad and must have been a Reader (Associate Professor ) for at least a period of three years with requisite number of papers (off-shore and on-shore ) in line with the academic staff establishment regulations. He/she must have proficiency in core courses in Public Administration.
- Senior Lecturer
Candidates must equally
possess a Ph.D from a reputable university and must have a minimum of
three years teaching experience as a Lecturer Grade I with proven skill in
teaching and research.
- Senior Research Lecturer
Candidates, in addition to the
requirements for Senior Lecturer (as above), applicants must have worked in a research institute or
centre for at least two years. Preference would be given to candidates
with knowledge of computing, statistics and economics.
- Assistant Lecturer
Candidates must
possess a minimum of M.Sc. degree in Public Administration or Political
Science with bias in Public Administration and must not be more than 40
years of age. Preference would be given to applicants with proficiency in
computer appreciation, additional degrees in statistics, law and
economics.
